Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 tsp. Rubbed Sage
- 1 tsp. Minced Garlic
- 1 tsp. Thyme Leaves
- 1/2 tsp. Ground Allspice
- 1/2 tsp. Paprika
- 1 TBS. Flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Large Pork Chops
- 2 TBS. EVOO
- 1 Medium Onion (thinly sliced)
- 2 Red Apples (thinly sliced) (sweet apples are better)
- 1/2 C. Apple Juice
- 1 TBS. Brown Sugar
Directions:
- Mix flour, all of the spices & the salt in a small bowl. Sprinkle both sides of pork chops with one tablespoon of the seasoned flour.
- Cook pork chops in hot oil in large skillet on medium-high heat until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet. Add onion; cook and stir for three minutes or until tender. Add apples; cook and stir for two minutes.
- Stir in apple juice, sugar and remaining seasoned flour until well mixed. Return pork chops to skillet. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer for five to seven minutes.
*I did NOT like the apples with the pork chops to eat. The texture grossed me out, haha. But, they do give good flavor. I just picked my apples out. :-)
Enjoy!
