[Airport ..almost.. Meltdown]

So, I have to spill about my Airport Dilema, which at the time seemed like would NEVER be over with. Joey & I flew out to Arizona for the holidays to see my family & his... We had a wonderful two weeks & were dreading to return "home"... but unfortunately had to fly back. We flew seperately with different Airlines because we got a good deal. Joey flew out before I did... So, we dropped him off at his airport & then went straight to mine. My flight didn't leave until 5:55pm & I was there more than 2 hours early. We thought it'd be a good idea to get there even earlier than usual because of the fiasco's that we heard about on the news. I got through security & what not & was sitting, listening to music, awaiting my plane.... The plane finally arrived, the plane ride was great & I arrived into Tulsa just fine. Well, we live in Springfield (where Joey's flight flew into) which is almost 3 hours away from Tulsa.... So, I knew that I would have to wait a bit on Joey coming to pick me up from the airport.... As soon as I landed I checked my phone & had a text from Joey saying "I'm here" .... I thought "Wow, he got here faster than I expected... maybe his plane got in earlier... I'm so glad I don't have to wait on him...." [After being in an airport and on a plane for over 6 hours already I was ready to get in the car and drive HOME!] So, I text Joey & asked him if he had parked or was just driving around waiting & all of the sudden I get a call from him.... I answer, and the first thing he says to me is.... "Babe, look in your purse... do you have the keys to th car?" Automaticaly my heart SANK. I knew without even looking in my purse that I HAD THE KEYS TO MY CAR (which HE needed to get to me)... I soon realized that when he text me and said "I'm here" ... he meant his plane landed & he was in Springfield.... Not in Tulsa.... So, I got my luggage & in the meantime he was calling everywhere to find a friends car to borrow to come get me (3 hours away)....I was so done at that point. I couldn't believe that I forgot to give him the keys! He ended up finding a truck to borrow & came straight to pick me up. With a day of traveling we were both SO tired.... He arrived at the airport at 2:30AM & I was the ONLY (non-employee) there... I thought I was going to DIE! :) Maybe a little exaggeration... BUT after being at 2 different airports for well over 11 hours was EXHAUSTING. I was too scared to fall asleep & so anxious to get home & in BED. After Joey drove 3 hours he was not about to drive 3 more. So I drove most of the way home... We finally got home (to find out good ole' BBC's heaters in our apartments WERE NOT WORKING) and went straight to be around 7-7:30AM! I'll tell you this, (Lord Willing) I will NEVER forget to give my husband the keys ever again & if I do... we will be getting 10 spare keys hidden throughout Springfield. :)
