Rinse the strawberries & cut the tops off, then quarter them. Place them in the blender. Squeeze the juice of two lemons into the blender. Seasoned Grilled Steak & Zucchini

Seasoned Steak

If you don't like somewhat of a "crust" on your steak, don't do this! :) But I loved it and so did Joey!

I used two 12 Oz. Ribeyes. Melt half a stick of butter, then let it cool down a bit. Put uncooked steaks in a dish & salt and pepper both sides. Pour about 1/4-1/2 Cup of EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) and flip over the steaks so both sides get coated. Then pour the butter over both steaks and flip again. I added chopped basil & some garlic salt to each sides of my steaks. Let them sit in this mixture for about 20-30 minutes. Grill them to your liking :)

Zucchini

1/4  Stick Butter (melted)
1 tsp. Rosemary
Salt & Pepper (To Taste)

Slice the zucchini and put in a bowl. Add melted butter, rosemary and salt & pepper. Add to the grill & watch carefully. Once you get the grill marks on both sides take off and serve :)

...::: LoVe NeVeR FaiLS :::...

.....Love Never Fails.....

Love is not proud
Love does not boast
Love after all
Matters the most
Love does not run
Love does not hide
Love does not keep
Locked inside
Love is the river that flows through
Love never fails you
Love will sustain
Love will provide
Love will not cease
At the end of time
Love will protect
Love always hopes
Love still believes
When you don't
Love is the arms that are holding you
Love never fails you
When my heart won't make a sound
When I can't turn back around
When the sky is falling down
Nothing is greater than this
Greater than this
Love is right here
Love is alive
Love is the way
The truth the life
Love is the river than flows through
Love is the arms that are holding you
Love is the place you will fly to
Love never fails you

The "Spice Soup" Story

Okay, So when I was a little girl I used to LOVE coming to Grandma's house.... The reason being was because she would ALWAYS say "Sweetie you help yourself to ANYTHING in this house you want" ... which in my mind was the BEST thing she could ever say! Haha, because I loved to "COOK". One specific time we visited them, I took advantage of the helping myself to anything. I asked Grandma if I could make some "spice soup" ... Now I was probably seven or eight years old or so... So, spice soup to me was water and whatever spices I wanted to thrown in... Which was everything from Cinnamon to Parsley to Cayenne to Basil. Well, when I was done with this soup I didn't want it to go to waste.... HA! I remember cooking it in an Iron Skillet ... and everyone was sitting in the living room visited, and I came in there wanting EVERYONE to taste it. :) Bless their sweet hearts, they all "tried" it whether the sucked it up and really had a spoonful or somehow faked it... Haha... and they all grinned from ear to ear and acted like it was the BEST soup they had EVER tasted! So sweet :) That meant the WORLD to me! Anyways, that story will stick with me forever. So anytime something tastes bad or if it's somewhat made up we call it "Spice Soup" in memory of my lovely cooking skills as a little girl! :)

So.... Megan wanted to bake something tonight & I didn't have much in the pantry to bake with. I was suppose to go grocery shopping today and didn't get to it... So she starts pulling out random ingredients which made us think of "Spice Soup"... Long story short we end up having a "Spice Soup Competition" using random ingredients that we had. Joey (bless his heart) was the judge. He didn't know who made what to make it fair. But I have to say, I know the way to my man's stomach... which naturally leads to his heart ;-) ... PEaNUT BuTTER! Megan made a "Sweet Peppermint Cinnamon Bread" and I made a "Chocolatey Peanut Butter Creamy Crunch" .... I WON!! WOO HOO!! Probably only because it had peanut butter in it... it was NOT good to me!! Haha :) We had fun nonetheless and made memories and captured some great moments!! LOVE YA MEG :))
